About me
Hi! I’m Chris Heidt. A medical computer scientist by training, these days I work as a data engineer and medical image computing researcher based in Heidelberg, Germany.
Currently I’m focusing on implementing a modern, open data lakehouse for clinical research settings, empowering researchers and facilitating data science use cases. On the side, I am doing research on thoracic MRI for treatment response monitoring, trying to pursue more hobbies than there are hours in the day, and currently getting into writing.
I originally set this page up as a medium to write the tutorials I wish I had found when learning about certain topics, but will likely also branch out into other fun stuff that’s hogging my attention along the way.
